Our tails are to be used with monofins. A monofin is an insert for a fabric-made tail that gives it its shape and supports swimming. Fabric tails have slits at the bottom which allows to pull the fabric over the monofin.

We recently cruised the Caribbean and people were so amazed by the mermaid outfits. We bought the bikinis, matching hair scrunchies, tails and the fin. My two daughters absolutely loved swimming around the pool and sea in them. They were easily put on, and taken off and washed and dried perfectly. A very good Christmas present for them.
