Mermaid Safety
Is your child ready for a mermaid adventure?
Not sure if they’re mermaid tail-ready? Check out our guide below - safety comes first at Planet Mermaid UK to ensure your child is confident, capable, and safe in the water. We also highly recommend reviewing our leaflet here.
Safety is our top priority, and children must always be supervised by a responsible adult during any swimming activity. It’s your parental responsibility to make sure our products are used in safe, controlled environments.
We also encourage all parents to visit trusted water safety resources such as the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS) for expert advice on keeping children safe around water. We also encourage you to take your child to specialist Mermaid Swimming facilities in your area, please check with your local leisure providers for mermaid classes.
‘Children must always be supervised by a responsible adult during any
swimming activity’.
Warning: Mermaid tails or monofins can significantly reduce the person’s
ability to swim and can only be used by competent swimmers under strict
competent adult supervision at all times, regardless of swimming ability.
